Ingredients: 70% tomato pulp, extra virgin olive oil, 8% aubergines, 8% peppers, onion, salt and citric acid
Caponata is a mix of coarsely chopped aubergines, peppers and onions mixed with tomato pulp. A sauce that brings together and encloses the summer flavours of the South. It is advisable to pour the mixture into a pan together with the just slightly undercooked pasta, adding a leaf of fresh basil.
The product must be stored in a dry place away from heat sources.
Once opened, the jar must be closed, kept in the fridge and consumed within 5 days.
